Shepherd Sales and Service has been serving the Richmond and surrounding communities since 1946. We have established ourselves as a home town dealership and continue to follow the business model of Jim Shepherd, founding family member, who grew the business into an award-winning Lincoln Mercury dealership and transitioned it to its current customer-centered, full service pre-owned car facility. Jim enjoyed working with people, helping them find the right car and talking with customers who were in for service, many of whom regularly stopped by for a cup of coffee or cookie and to visit. We have been recognized for our focus on providing excellent customer service and have received the President’s Award for outstanding customer satisfaction for 14 years. At Shepherd Sales & Service, we take great pride in our dedication to customer satisfaction and continue Jim’s tradition of treating customers as friends and offering the highest level service and sales experience.

Over the years we have donated to various youth sports teams and supported local charitable groups like the Goodfellow's and the Lion's club. In 2003 Jim Shepherd decided one of the best ways he could give back to the community was to participate in the education of local children. Jim made contact with four area elementary schools and developed a plan in which he donated and hand delivered a dictionary to every 3rd grade student at the four schools, over 4000 dictionaries to date. At Shepherd Sales and Service, we are committed to continuing Jim’s tradition of giving back to the community through various donations as well as providing dictionaries to third graders at our local schools.
